Botticelli Birth
How could i recreate this art piece?
I have a project in which i have to create an art piece based on the original art piece I've chosen. For my piece i choose The Birth of Venus (Botticelli) but i have no idea on how to go about making my own art piece based on this. I was thinking doing something on photoshop. Any ideas?
make it a modern birth of venus
replace venus with like a top idol or yourself
and change the other people of thsoe that are important to you or society
change what they're wearing to modern clothes
instead of trees, factories
etc?

Paintings Of Venus: Painting Sensual Skin Of Cloth-Less Female
Perhaps no other artwork, painting of sculpture, has attracted the artists as the paintings of Venus. Whenever an artist wants to depict sensual skin or adore female body, he or she has reverted painting Venus, the Goddess of Love. Looking at the Venus, the first thing that would spark in our mind would be the unmatched beauty of the female body. And the artists have loved to depict the same beauty in various ways and through many techniques.
The artist like Botticelli would paint the Birth of Venus and pave the way for other artists repeating the theme. In ancient time, the depiction of natural beauty of male and female body was not a taboo. But some religious thoughts made a difference. With the rising spread of religions like Judaism and Christianity, and other orthodox groups, the painter and sculptors were discouraged to use the bare body as their subject. Due to certain beliefs against showing of genitals of men and women in art pieces, the field of art started neglecting the theme of painting bare body. I would say that the depiction of natural beauty of woman was doomed to virtual anonymity.
This period of anonymity for painting clothe-less females and males lasted almost for one thousand years. During this period, the flow of artistic depiction through the paintings of beauty of female and male body was dammed. But the painting done by The Birth of Venus, by Botticelli in the year 1482 started a new era in figurative painting. After this incident, the trend had been set. Artists were no longer shy about choosing the subject of cloth-less women.
