I just purchased a baby Red Tail Cat Fish?
Can anyone give me their stories , experiences and advice on raising a Red Tail Cat Fish? I really love him and he's so gentle. If I like this fish so much can you reccomend a similar type?
If you are referring to Phractocephalus hemioliopterus they get absolutely huge...up to four feet long and weigh nearly one hundred pounds! I hope you knew that when you bought it and are prepared for that. When it is full grown it will need a tank of several hundred gallons.
They are pretty tough characters. They are predatory and will eat any fish they can fit into their mouths and their mouths are surprisingly large for their body. Keep only with fish they cannot swallow that can fend for themselves as red tails become increasingly aggressive as they grow. They are not too picky about water parameters, a pH of 6-7 and normal tropical temps will be fine. Any meaty foods will be accepted. You will need good filtration and a good water change schedule as they are messy fish that produce a lot of waste.
Good tankmates are Oscars and pacus. If you like red tails you would also like Shovelnose catfish, either the Tiger (Pseudoplatystoma fasciatum) or the Lima Shovelnose (Sorubim lima). These are predatory cats that grow to a huge size that could be kept with your red tail.

How Red Cat Wine Urbanized
Red Cat Wine is formed by Hazlitt Vineyard. The wine was originally known as HHJ Wine, also identified as Red Catawba. It was named following the local grapes from which it was manufactured, and finally received the loved nickname of Red Cat.
The wine's history holds an exciting report of seduction and young indiscretion. The wine was in fact in continuation before the Hazlitt Winery exist. Jerry Hazlitt made this wine in order to enjoyment with his family and party members in the beginning of 1980. Jerry manufactured the first batch of Red Catawba in a wooden barrel in his driveway, where native grapes were stomped in usual fashion to produce wine for private use.
Since the story goes, Jerry's sons were quite fond of being host feminine friends, and took it on their behalf to get some of their father's wine for a harbor party that really featured a domestic hot barrel. The boys found that their father's "home made wine" rapidly removed the old choices of consumers, making several much more insufficiently clothes hot tubbers.
Red Cat has gained a popularity over time as a wine recognized among the school crowd. T-shirts and other printed notes on things sporting the Red Cat name are well-liked.
